| This rare &
hard-to-find waterglobe was issued in 2000 as the first waterglobe
in the Kringle's Village Series that is part
of Boyds Town. |
| It
features a winter cottage in snow, with
candy canes and trees surrounding the
cottage. A small bear is peeking out
from behind a tree. |
On the
large base, an elf bear is sliding down a
hill towards the mail box. On the
back, an elf bear is making a snowman.
There are trees and holly accenting the snow
on the base.
The snow has a glittered finish. |

The
waterglobe is
in perfect condition, except for one
problem. There is a bubble that
measures about 2
inches on the top. Water is not leaking out of
it; it came with a bubble.
Because of the size of the glass globe
portion, it is difficult to fill it with
water and then secure the seal.

Boyds large waterglobes will have bubbles in
the top. |

| This is a large &
heavy waterglobe; it measures 6.5 inches high. The base
diameter is 5-3/4 inches. |
| The bottom shows the
hand numbered edition ... this one is a first edition
(1E). |
| There is a
compartment on the bottom where you can put 2 AA batteries
and when turned on, a light shows thru the windows of the
cottage. Batteries are not included. |
| The waterglobe is
also a musical, and it plays "Winter Wonderland". |
