This hand crafted Santa is holding a
staff in one hand and a bag full of gifts in the other hand. |

He is wearing a very elaborately
painted robe, in shades of red and gold. |
| There is silver glitter
lightly accented on his beard and on the white fur
of his robe. |

if he is about to speak! |

| All around the back of
Santa's red robe, there are detailed traditional folk art
designs done in shades of gold and white. |

During the delicate painting process, as the wood absorbs the
paint, the artist applies layer after layer of the water color
paint again & again, until the desired depth is achieved. |

layer is applied without guidelines, and the artists can rely
only on their skill and talent. |

The snowflakes are intricately hand painted, and the colors
