This hand crafted Santa is holding a
large bag ready to load up with toys, plus a staff topped with
a green tree. |

He is wearing a red & gold robe &
hat. |

| All around the back
of Santa's red & gold robe, there are detailed
traditional folk art designs done in vibrant shades of gold
and brown. |
| |
| This Santa is
one of the smaller ones in the Masterpiece Collection, but
he has lots of fantastic details. |

| During the delicate painting process, as the wood absorbs the
paint, the artist applies layer after layer of the water color
paint again & again, until the desired depth is achieved. |
| Every
layer is applied without guidelines, and the artists can rely
only on their skill and talent. |
