| This
2003 Honor Collection is a tribute to Fenton founder, Frank L. Fenton, who
developed Mulberry glass during the early 1940s. At the
time, the company was producing a transparent color called
Aqua. |
| Frank L.
suggested the glass blowers take a small amount of the gold ruby
used to make Cranberry glass & cover it with Aqua to see
what combination would occur. The result was a beautiful
color that shaded from a reddish purple to blue. |
