Peach Crest Glass ...
Originated in 1939-40, when the Fenton glassworkers cased a bud of  gold ruby glass by layering Milk Glass on the outside and adding a ring of pure crystal after the piece was blown to shape.
The gold ruby layer on the interior is uniform and thin, so it appears pink  because of the Milk Glass covering it.
Gold ruby is also used in making Cranberry Glass.

This Peach Crest basket features a pure "watercolor" floral designed by Kim Barley.
The attached handle is crystal.
Peach Crest is a gold-based color, and is one of the more rare glass treatments produced by Fenton Glass.
 
The basket features the Fenton 100th Anniversary backstamp and is numbered and limited.
